Spring Has Not Sprung Completely, But We are Busy as Ever

Well, the wrong button was touched as I started to Blog, so I am attempting is again! It is grey and rainy here, and the lake is still encased in ice, but it is soft and mushy, as it begins to awaken. Another week or two and the peepers will be peeping , the bugs buzzing around, and buds and leaves popping out.
We have been busy as this pictures can attest to.

We got to visit with Nancy, Rick, Molly and Austin (I have their pics somewhere!) in Kissimmee

Pictures of the Space Shuttle Discovery as it takes off from Florida March 15, 2009-Awesome Sight!

Popop and Louisa love putting water, a drop of liquid soap, and a drop of food coloring in a ziplock bag -then SHAKE SHAKE SHAKE!! What fun to see the foamy bubbles turn colors. They more they shook the more they laughed!  Louisa danced and turned arond and around to Popop's singing. If you have a toddler, try it-but use just enough water to make the suds, and two bags in case of a leak.. Have fun-they sure did!

Jill and Kevin at the Mount Washington-seems like a long time ago-Next Stop-Wentworth by the Sea for an Easter Brunch-I wonder if the Easter Bunny will be around???

We are now watching Tiger Woods play golf in Florida, and are looking forward to playing soon. Evan just took his first ride of the year on his Segway-so golf is not far behind.

Another Day of Adventure

We went through part of the Panama Canal today-into Lake Gatun then back out to the Caribbean after a few hours-It is unbelievable-the ships have barely a foot or two on either side -Here are a few pics-we have lots more of the process of going through the locks-Evan and I stayed on board to watch it all -Here are a few other pics too!

A Cartahenga Fruit lady-they wanted to charge you to take a picture with them.
The giant doors of one of the locks with the stern of the ship visible. We either ascended or descended 85 feet in three locks, depending on what direction we were going.
Traveling through one lock.
Lock doors opening or closing-cannot remember which. That is the stern of the ship-probably they are closing. The doors are HUGE!
Displaying our LOSING bingo cards! But it was fun.

The Caribbean Sea

Enjoying a libation!
Louise holding a sloth mom and her baby-(You have to look closely for the baby!)
We have been sailing six days now-having a great time, and seeing new places and experiences adventures. The Seas have been very rough the last several days, which makes for hilarious trips from one deck to another and from one end of the ship to another. We got a little worried when the little holders filled with vomit bags appeared!! We have been fine, though. Here are a few pics-time is limited on the ship's internet because of the $$$$$$$$ it costs.
