There is something that does bother me about it, and that is the ease with which people can see details of other people's lives that they have posted on the sight because the become "friends". I guess I am old fashioned, but is seems like snooping to me-almost voyueristic. I admit I am as curious as the next person-I just have not come to any real conclusion as to what it all means.
So here I am, finally adding a new entry to this blog, with some pics.

Great shots mom! I love the one of Monet she looks so grown up! I have to agree with you about Facebook, yes I too have neglected my blog due to facebook, but remember it is all there choice to put it up and to share. When you are invited it is inviting you to come in an check out there profile!! I am so proud to have a mother that can blog, keep up with her face book and run an iphone!!! I have a cool mom!! Louisa has a hip Nanna!
I also am in agreement with being distracted by facebook, but if you post anything your sharing with the world! All the people on my friends I know personally. I think the best thing is try to keep address details or other personal stuff off facebook. I use blogger for KIT with family and facebook for everyone else. Just have to be selective on what you want out there! The kids are so cute. I Think we all have been neglecting are blogs, but I LOVE getting to see everyones pics of the next generation!
Louise I can help you with the "privacy" on facebook as there is a way to "limit" what some friends can see. But I agree with Molly, don't make them a friend unless you want to share daily with them. Otherwise you can grant them just a limited profile.
